The Indiana Statistical Consulting Center (ISCC) began shortly after the inception of the Indiana University Department of Statistics in 2006. Since its inception, ISCC has actively served the research community at Indiana University, providing statistical advice and data analysis for all disciplines across the IUB and regional campuses.

The scope and demand for ISCC’s services have grown exponentially since it began. In nine short years ISCC has gone from a single staff member to three senior consultants and a team of consulting associates, treating nearly 400 unique clients every year. Faculty members and students across Indiana, and even outside universities and external corporations have collaborated with ISCC’s team and have witnessed the benefits of statistical collaboration.

ISCC’s growth since 2006 is tied directly to the success of the Department of Statistics, the education and ability of its statistics students, and the quality of the statistical consulting it is able to provide.
