Nicolas is a PhD candidate in the Department of Statistics at IU. His research focuses on applying advanced mathematical methods to understand data with geometric constraints, mostly in the context of brain imaging. He also does research on harmonization methods, Bayesian approaches to Gaussian processes and the statistical analysis of signal data. He received a M.A. in Mathematics from IU and B.A.'s in Mathematics and Physics from Universidad de los Andes.
